Do I take a test?

I went on the implant recently. 26th April to be exact. And I've had one period and that's it. I've put in a fair bit of weight and haven't had a period. The app keeps asking me about me having my period. Should I take a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side? I know the implant can stop bleeding.

Answer

You can take a test to get peace of mind but if you have the implant there's a very very small possibility you're pregnant. Often, periods will change or even go away with types of birth control.
