Two periods one month..

I was diagnosed with early endo but thankfully was able to get the majority burned. I was told by the surgeon that my main problem was a hormonal imbalance. Surgery helped with my long periods and pains for maybe two months. After trying many different BC pills to stop extra long periods (one month I only did NOT bleed for 6 days).. I finally had two months of no periods then this month I am on my second period. I'm in lots of pain and passing of clots. Has anyone done the lupron shot to help with this? I know the side effects can be bad but the doctor wants to try it.
