Relationship/myself advice

My boyfriend and I have argued multiple times about when a girl messages him that id appreciate him telling me. NOT cheating wise, but he has led me tp not fullh trust him. Well vis versa for me, well when I tell him for instance yesterday, and incident happened with a guy textjng me, i told him, he got mad and said show me the messages. Someone him and his dad knows and the messages were all good sbout my boyfriend. Well i flew out of town, and a sister to one of his friends messaging him. He asked for a pic(of a truck) jokingly ahe says your gf wouldnt like that, he said not like that, we have all already seen it anyway haaha and they start talking about the truck. I am so mad as we have talked MUTIPLE TIMES about this, and he continues to not tell me things. But gets crazy mad and jealous when i tell him. Am i over reacting or isnthis just ridiculous
