How do I tell my parents?

I am 18, and pregnant. I do not know how to tell my parents. I'm going to tell my mom first and ask if she will tell my dad. How should I tell her? and if she won't tell my dad, how do I tell him? Over text is what I would feel most comfortable with being I am not a very confrontational person, but I don't know. Please help!
