Did my waters just break or not?

Hi, I'm 17 and this is my first baby. I'm due in 5 days but I think my waters just broke although I can't tell.

Me and my boyfriend had just had sex about 5/10 minutes beforehand and he came in me (sorry for the tmi) but then I sat up just about to go to the toilet and my leggings were really wet like what my knickers would feel like after he came in me. I don't know if it's just come or not, but I don't think I've ever normally been that wet after having sex

You can't always judge if your water broke by the onset of contractions afterwards.  When my water broke with my 1st. I thought I just peed myself some. It was just a little here and there. And I wasn't in any pain. I didn't go to the hospital for two hours and when I got there the contractions weren't strong enough to even be felt. It wouldn't hurt to go get checked just in case. If you keep getting some leakage, I know it sounds gross but smell it. Amniotic fluid has a sweeter smell and will have the white specks in it.

You could have squirted. Sorry tmi but with baby putting pressure on everything your g-spot is easier to hit.

Lie down for about twenty minutes and then stand up and see if you leak anymore. If you do, definitely head in to be checked. :) good luck!

You don't need to go to the doctor if you started having contractions then you can go to the doctor you should be able to tell the difference between amniotic fluid and cum.  Cum dries very quickly, feels sticky and is opaque in color. While amniotic fluid is clear does not feel sticky and will not dry quickly and get flaky like semen does but like I said the biggest thing would be contractions when I had my water broken by my doctor it came out in a huge rush and within 15 minutes the contractions were intense

If it continues to leak then your water broke. If it's just a little and nothing else comes out its probably just from sex, whether it be from him or you.

I'd go to the doctor to check! They can do a test to see if it's amniotic fluid or not
