Does my baby have a cleft lip?

We had some 3D images taken and the cord was draped over the nose.. Does my baby look like she has a cleft lip..?? The ultrasound tech said she didn't see anything but said if I'm concerned to tell my OB and I will be sent to a specialist who has better equipment to look for one.. Worried. 18 weeks 2 Days

It is so hard to tell from the 3d ultrasound pictures. I think you'll be fine though. Any updates with what the dr said or a new ultrasound? I noticed Excela Health on your ultrasound. Are you in SW Pa? I live about 10 minutes from New Stanton, Pa, and about 20 from Greensburg.

I don't think you have anything to worry about! This is a cleft lip ultrasound pic. You can google it. I'm sure it's probably just the angle of your photos, plus at 18 weeks baby has such a tiny little face still and has a lot of growing/filling out to do. Hope it's all good Mama 💛

You can't tell from these images, I wouldn't over think it. 3/4D images can be really blurry and blob like. My the scan I had done at 14wks my little guy looked like he has webbed fingers in some of the pics 😂 You should be having your anatomy scan soon with your OB so that will help ease your mind.

My son was born with a cleft lip. It wasn't picked up on ultrasound because it was so minor
