UTI but no burning?

Question

I'm 16 weeks and I haven't had a burning sensation (which I have experienced with a UTI before), but my urge to urinate has gone up while I'm not expelling much urine and my abdomen has been a little sore. I'm not asking for a diagnosis, but wondering if any of you ladies have ever had a UTI without the burning? Someone told me it could be the baby settling on my bladder but it's a little uncomfortable. Thoughts/experiences?

I've had UTIs while not pregnant and one so far while pregnant. I didn't have any burning, but that wasn't usually one of my symptoms. I did have pain in my abdomen and there was a smell. However, the symptoms can vary. I tried the at home UTI test strips first to save myself a trip to the doctor. It came back positive so I went to an urgent care location the next day. I highly recommend the at home test strips first.

UTI's can be asymptomatic. People can have an infection and not experience the symptoms. Do you feel confused at all? UTI's can also cause confusion. If you believe you have an infection the best thing to do is go to the doc and have a UA done.

I thought I had a uti for the same reason, came back negative. Probably just the baby. But I'd still go get checked. They always just let me come in to make sure regardless of my reason.

The only symptom I've ever gotten with a UTI is the smell. I've had them my whole life. It is very possible, no harm in getting checked. You may just need macro bid or keflex, good luck Hun

I had a UTI in the first trimester with absolutely no symptoms at all. I had to take two rounds of antibiotics because the first didn't work. They then tested me every trimester since I had no symptoms and I've been clear since the first one.

I peed every 5 to 15 minutes throughout most of my pregnancy. Sometimes a lot sometimes a little. I was tested frequently for UTIs which I never had. Sometimes I think it's just part of pregnancy.

I have had 2 so far with this pregnancy and have had no burning. I just took another culture to be sure the last round of meds got rid of all the bacteria. From my experience recently you don't have to have the burning but these are the only 2 UTIs I have ever had.

I had an asymptomatic UTI recently that was caught by the routine urine collection at my obgyn visit. Get the home test from the drugstore just to be safe! Good luck!

Yeah I'm only 7 weeks along and I deal with that every couple of days... just things moving around and rubbing on things internally!
