The Dr told me if my sons was still bleeding that it was not susposed to that they would have to do something to stop the bleeding so idk I would ask dr

Clean it with alcohol or proxcide an let it get some air

Yes it will heal my first it did that I was a worried parent I took her in  because it smelled funny they said its normal
