Advice? (Unrelated)

Question

Hey so this isn't related to periods or sex, etc, but I would love some advice. So this upcoming school year is my first year of highschool, and also my first year being in a "regular" school. I've been in Montessori all my life but now feel like it's not a good fit for me at this age and want to experience the traditional highschool. Anyway, I'm super nervous because not only is it gonna be my first time in traditional school, but it's also just gonna be stressful with the typical highschool drama, homework (I've never had much before), boys, etc. if anyone could give me tips or advice on any of it that would be amazing as I'm mostly heading into the dark here. I do have a friend who's been in traditional school but she won't be at my new school with me and other than that I don't have many people to ask about it. Thanks so much

My advice for you is to be involved! Don't get involved with all the boy drama, you'll have plenty of time for that later. I regret focusing all my energy on guys and not being involved in high school. Really focus on finding out what you like to do and love yourself! ❤️ most importantly have fun!

Get involved with school programs ! High School will be much more fun if you are in many clubs. This is also a great way to make new friends ! (: I'm going into my third year of high school and I can tell you that if you do right from the beginning and keep up with the work, it will be really easy. Don't get involved with drama and boys. Trust me, it'll be much harder on you junior & senior year if you don't put the effort in now. Good luck !

This probably isn't what you're looking for, but just be yourself honestly. People will love you or hate you, it's high school it's a time to figure out who you are and what you want to do with your life. Just enjoy it, join the clubs you're interested in, take the classes you want to take, flirt with guys, make friends, just do you because when you get older you'll miss it. High school is rough, but it can also be some of the best years of your life, you just have to stay strong in who you are and not let anyone peer pressure you into doing something you'll regret later in life.

I'm about to be in my third year at a traditional highschool, and honestly, it's not really that hard.  I mean, of COURSE theirs drama, friends,
homework, and people you won't like.  But this is how I've been playing it, drama-stay out of it as much as humanly possible.    Friends-try to find quality, not quantity.. Having a few true supportive friends is way better then having a hundred life-sucking people around all the time.    Homework-try to finish as much as possible in class. Sometimes you won't finish it all, so you'll have to do it at home, but at least try.      And for people you don't like, instead of being involved with them, or letting them make fun of you.. Simply walk away. Get them out of your life. Cause honey, you don't have time for that drama nonsense.
