Broken heart 💔

So I know this doesn't have anything to do with periods but I need to vent to the world cuz this is a very tough situation... so I have been with my boyfriend since 8th grade in a long distance relationship. Our 4 years was on the 7th of July and he just recently moved in with me and my family because he has a tough home life with his dad (his dad's a huge asshole and you'll find out why). He went back home this weekend to help a family member move (lives 2 hours away) I didn't hear from him the whole time he was gone so I started to get worried and confided in his mom. She was worried too. So I finally heard from him yesterday morning and hes telling me he has to move back home and he has to break up with me because him and his dad got in a huge fight. He comes back to pick up all of his stuff along with his dad, brother, and friend to make sure he wouldn't "run away" Once he's done loading up his truck we talk and he's balling his eyes out because he's being forced to leave and he swears he can't tell me why.

Btw he's 18 almost 19. But him and his 21 year old brother are both terrified of their father. Idk why but I do know he abuses them mentally with his horrible words. I can't think of any reason why he'd leave unless his dad said something horrible to him if he stayed with me. (His dad is a short, fat, disgusting redneck man who keeps his kids as slaves while he sits around the house, he says the nastiest things and has no self respect. He goes to the bar everynight and gets wasted)

Both our moms have told me that I need to give him time to fight against his dad because he'll eventually do it if he loves me so much. He never wanted this I'm just scared as hell and confused.

I know everyone on this site is so nice and understanding. Thanks for taking the time and reading this... there is much more to the story but this is already Hella long.
