Is my LO actually eating or am I being used as a pacifier(
My baby is 3 weeks and he's a very lazy nurser. He stays latched on for nearly an hour and rests more often than actually sucking. Towards the end his latch lessens to where only the nipple is in his mouth. The whole Arreola is exposed. When I try to remove my nipple, he starts to suck more vigorously.
Am I a human pacifier? How can I tell if he's still sucking up milk?
