Who do I bring to my prenatal classes?

My husband will be out on deployment during my birthing class/breastfeed classes. I don't have any family around other than my dad and step mom. My husband will be back in time for the birth (hopefully.) who do I bring with me to these classes? Or do I just go by myself? Im unsure of what to do.

You can bring someone for support if you want but I would find out from the instructor if it is ok for you to record it so when your husband returns he can catch up or you can send the videos to him before if that is even possible he might like the idea and you can feel comfortable that the person who is actually going to be in the delivery has gotten all the information as well

I would just go alone unless you plan to have someone other than your husband in the delivery room, in which case you could bring them.

Are you close to your step mom? If not do you have any girl friends? Otherwise just go by yourself!

I went to my birthing classes by myself because I was far from my husband when I took them. I was fine with it, I just make sure to teach him everything I learned so that he is knows what to expect when the day comes. The baby class (how to bathe, change diapers, etc) we took together later in my pregnancy.
I think you should do what makes you more comfortable! I wouldnt have wanted neither my dad nor my step mother in any of my classes or apointments! But I am very private with these things.

I'm gonna be a single mom and I went by myself for the first one and my best friend went to the second one with me since it was more in depth of laboring positions and for the last two my step mom is coming !
