Does laying after intercourse help conceive?

My husband and I have different views and wanted to see what you ladies thought. We've been TTC for almost 3 months.... 
Do you/Should you lay with your hips up after having intercourse? If so, how long?

This is going to sound crazy as hell but I would lay with my feet up against the wall for like 15 minutes after.

No, it doesn't, but plenty of people do it anyway. The sperm gets to where it needs to go in seconds, so it's not necessary.

For 3 months I laid with my feet on the wall for 30 mins before getting up. The month I didn't lay and worry about it was the month I got pregnant
