My baby hates her bassinet AND swaddles! Anyone else's baby?

My baby hates her bassinet too. She is okay with being swaddled as long as her hands are free, but lately she's even started kicking her feet out too. She can be out cold on my chest but the SECOND I put her in the bassinet her eyes open and she freaks out. I feel like the only sleep I get is a few super uncomfortable hours in the recliner with her laying on me. I hate the idea of her not being next to me at night but I think I'm getting desperate enough to try and transition to the crib or buy something she can sleep in at an incline.

We bought a rock and play because the first few nights trying to sleep him in the bassinet were terrible. Best purchase ever! He also hates being swaddled and always manages to get his hands out. So we just cover his legs and wrap the blanket around them!

My son only lasted 2 weeks in his bassinet then ended up in his crib and didn't liked being swaddled, so we never swaddled him after the hospital, he liked to sleep all sprawled out!

My son hated it, he wanted to be free! He used to punch and kick the sides of his bassinet grumpily, he was much happier in the cot!
Like, Mum I've been squashed up for months, I want to be free! Lol

My husband hated being swaddled so im wondering if my baby will be the same. There are different swaddling techniques so im curious how people swaddle that the babies end up unswaddling. The way my mom taught me to swaddle no baby can get loose. Lol at least I dont think. I havent swaddled a baby in 13 years.

Rock and play! Was letting him fall asleep in rock and play and doing the transfer to bassinet but doctor gave me the ok for him to sleep in the rock and play.  So scared of how he will transition to crib but right now we are living day to day!

We've been trying to swaddle with arms out... Then she gets her feet out and I just give up lol we've been keeping our room a few degrees warmer since she's anti blanket 😂

Baby girl hates her bassinet but loves being swaddled. I try to have her in the bed as much as possible unless I'm tired.

7swaddles.com gives instructional videos of different type swaddles. My girl didn't like it either til we tried the "hands up" swaddle from that site. We can now get her to lay swaddled in her bassinet (sometimes). She wouldn't do either before.
