Spotting! 😮

This is my first pregnancy, but I was told to go to the ER if I had any spotting. I've also heard from multiple sources that spotting during the first trimester (I'm nine weeks) is normal. It in no way looks like a period. I know it's TMI, but it's a brown/pink mucus, that's coming out very sporadically when I wipe. This particular period of spotting has been going on a few days. At least I have an OB/GYN appointment tomorrow… Has anyone else experienced this and been scared out of their minds???
