Swelling ??

Question

This is my second pregnancy. I guess I was lucky and didn't have any swelling with my first. Today I noticed it was hard to walk because from the knees down I've been very swollen. Especially my feet. Feels like they are filled with fluid. I feel fine otherwise. Is this normal ??

I'm expecting baby number 2 as well. With my first, I had swelling in my ankles towards the end. This time it's my hands, ankles and the rest of my feet as well. It is all the excess fluid and the heat (at least here in NY) that are making it worse this tile around for me. My first was born in February so the cold weather helped keep it at bay. I would elevate tour legs and walk around to get everything flowing. As long as you don't have headaches, nausea, vision issues or high blood pressure, I wouldn't worry.

Same here. No swelling with my first pregnancy and now with my second my fingers and toes look like little sausages. The discomfort is unreal, but completely normal just so long as your blood pressure is normal.
