7 wks & only gestational sac

Last Monday I had my first ultrasound. Only a gestational sac was visible which measured 6w0d. I was told to come back in 1 wk since it was just too early to see anything else (I was told I have a "flipped" or "tilted" uterus). This is normal but I had to had a transvaginal ultrasound to even see the sac. Today was my 7w0d ultrasound. There was still only a sac visible & it only measured 6w4d instead of 7w0d & my dr said the sac is no longer round but more oval, meaning it has stopped progressing & is starting to collapse to prepare for miscarriage. He offered to give me another wk & have a 3rd ultrasound or I could take the meds to promote clearing of the sac, have a D&C or wait until it clears naturally. He was positive that there was still no yolk sac, fetal pole or heartbeat & that there wasn't going to be one at this point. I am a strong Christian woman & have been praying relentlessly about this; however I am also in medicine & a realist at that. I have decided to give it a couple of days to see if I begin to shed the sac & placental tissue naturally. Does anyone have any insight for me? This is my first pregnancy, but this is one of the hardest things I've ever had to face 🙏🏻
