Hair Color - waiting or going for it?

I'm 12 weeks today. My doctor advised me to wait until my second trimester to have my hair colored. Has anyone had theirs colored yet? Are you deciding to wait until a certain trimester or forgoing the color all together?

I had mine down last weekend at 11 weeks (I waited since before I was pregnant - 4 months). My doctor told me there was nothing wrong witht dying my hair but I waited as long as possible to do it just in case.

I was thinking though....heaps of hair dressers have healthy babies. They have to keep their hair done and are around/touching /breathing in those chemicals all day!

Waiting till after but only because the smell gets to me when I'm not pregnant.

You are fine to color your hair anyway and do your nails. Just make sure your in a well ventilated area. But other than that you should be fine. Some dr's are "old school " and say no to it in all honesty it's okay to be done.

I had my hair done but high lights so it dosent touch your scalp you should be fine? Could all ways ask your hair dresser and say my doctors told me to wait? What do you think they should no more. 💁🏼 xx

I haven't heard of waiting until 2nd trimester but I have heard of making sure it doesn't touch your scalp and you're in a well aired room.
