Painting?

I'm in total nesting mode. We just  bought a house that requires a lot of work. I'm kinda stressing and want to paint but worried about the fumes. We have all the paint just needs to get done. It's not the special low odor paint unfortunately.  Is it okay to go ahead and paint? I hate waiting around for other people to help me.

I already painted baby room. I did last time I was pregnant. Didn't even consider that maybe I shouldn't. Whoops? I'm not worried about it.

You could also wear a dust mask from Home Depot to cut some of the fumes

As long as you make sure there's proper ventilation and take breaks for fresh air, you should be fine!

A lot of paints are low VOC now and as long as it's ventilated and take breaks. You could wear a mask too. Or ask your doctor, I'm sure they all have differing opinions though.

I just helped paint a whole house. My doctor said it was fine: low VOC and well ventilated.

I've helped my husband paint our laundry room and the nursery so far this pregnancy. I just wore a dust mask and we kept a couple fans running in the room to move the air around. The fumes didn't bother me, the bending and squatting sure did though. 😂

I just asked my doctor this last week or so and she said as long as it's fairly ventilated then it'll be fine.

They say to use at your own risk. Make sure it's ventilated and to take lots of brakes

I've heard differing opinions. My doctor said ok as long as it's well ventilated but she wasn't crazy about the idea and preferred I leave the house. The lady at Home Depot also told me I should not be around while painting is going on 😂
