Contraception

I'm getting the one of those rod contraception implants that go into your arm soon and I was wondering, if because it's 99% affective, that it would be safe to have sex without a condom. I don't think my boyfriend minds wearing one he doesn't complain but I want to have the whole feeling of everything for the both of us (its not a big deal not to use one just won't to try it) even if it's just once but I don't want to if its not totally safe because we are to young to have any little kids running around 😂
