Just curious whether you wake them up during the day to feed them or just let them sleep until they wake up naturally and why?

I just let my baby sleep and wake when she's ready. I know people say keep them up during the day to sleep better at night but my doctor said a tired baby is a fussy baby and could make it harder for them to sleep at night. My babe sleeps 5-7 hours straight at night so I'm just going to continue with what I'm doing! Also she's gained all her birthweight plus so doctor says no need to wake them to eat!

If my LO sleeps more than 3 hrs I wake him but he usually doesn't sleep that long during the day

My son naturally wakes up every 3-4 hours but if he were to sleep longer I wouldn't wake him up. He is well past his birth weight and his pedi said he can sleep as long as he wants. Within reason of course

The lactation consultant and our doctor said if they are past birth weight you do not need to wake them. My lo is five weeks and wakes once or twice a night but has gone for occasional long stretches. Hoping for more soon!

They will wake when they need something, it's how they are programmed! I even dream feed off I'm worried. You never wake a sleeping bag in my house lol

I used to wake my baby up until she hit 3 weeks.. I was so worried she wasn't eating enough etc., it just took me time to get comfortable with her and her own schedule. She's 6 weeks and now I let her sleep!!

My PED said until they are 1 month old with healthy weight gain to feed them every 3-4 hours.

Unless they act lethargic. Or have been aleeping for more then 4 hrs with out  wanting to eat dont  wake them if u do be gentle as possible  bc u can scare them and scaring. A sleeping baby can cauae the heart to stop

I wake my LO up during the day to keep naps less than 2 hrs. He doesn't always sleep that long on his own but sometimes he does. Days/nights being mixed up were a HUGE issue for us. For about a month, he would be up until 3-4am so we try to keep the naps during the day at a consistent duration. After 2 weeks of being strict about it, he now sleeps 7-8 hrs straight at night and he's almost 10 weeks
