Carriers are like bras. You really need to try them to see what fits you best. Check and see if there's a local baby wearers group with a lending library

I have an ergo and a "happy baby" wrap.  I am currently using the Happy Baby wrap exclusively because it is lighter weight than the ergo and I'm afraid she'd overheat during the summer heat.  I'm sure I'll switch to the ergo this September/October :)
