I think swings are an essential! I have a fisher price cradle n swing and it's been a total lifesaver! My daughter takes all her day time naps in it and is happy to sit in it while I do the house work. I get my house cleaned, dinner made and shower alone every day because of it. It makes life so much easier with a newborn 😊

It just depends on the baby, my seven week old hates being in the swing, but loves the bouncer.

My son hated his bouncer until he was almost 1 , and God did he and I love the swing from day1 haha my opinion is a swing is a must have
