Doctors report this morning...

Kiffany

My doctors report to me every morning. They're actually resident doctors who actually speak to me and one real doctor either comes in with them or later on. Well my doctors come in today saying that despite my vaginal bleeding and clotting stopping, I'm still losing platelets. Apparently you're supposed to have anywhere between 150,000 and 180,000 and I have around 130,000 platelets. They say that's still not too bad and it's not affecting Silas apparently because he's a big fat 3.5 lb wiggle worm. Very active. My abruption isn't affecting him either. If it was he would be showing signs of distress and he's not. But if I can keep from bleeding for 4 or 5 more days they'll let me go back to camp... camp is just a motel funded by the government to house patients who are not critical enough to be cared for in the hospital and live too far away from this hospital to leave the area. I'll be 5 minutes away from UAMS. I'm not gonna lie though, I'm a little apprehensive about going back to camp because I feel like if I go back 5 minutes is too far away if my water breaks. I'm 30 weeks so I'm very excited because every week that goes by means he's even healthier for birth but realistically i know he won't be full term I can feel my pelvic bones and I have real contractions every day. And he's positioned in my pelvic bone. I can feel it. Natilie and Evey were 5 and 6 weeks early I will be shocked if Silas makes it further than his sister's.

Sorry this is so long I like to talk about my experience with Silas and feel like this is a place I can talk. :)
