Pedicure to induce labor??

Is that true? Pedicure or a massage helps induce labor? Does it have to be a certain type of massage? Has it made any of you ladies go into labor? Can you give me info please

did the job for me!!! went to get a pedicure and foot massage at 8pm at the nail salon labor started at 11pm that very night with my water breaking so i say super yes to this!

When I told the lady(Katie) who always does my pedicure I was pregnant she refuses to massage the bottom of my feet saying it can cause labor.

I got one about 3 weeks ago but was dilated so nothing happened. I'm a little more progressive now so I plan to get a pedicure tomorrow. If baby isn't here by Monday then my sis in law who is a massage therapist is going to try to massage her out!

My massage therapist tried to induce me with pressure points last weekend (I'm 39 weeks), no baby, saw dr 2 days later, no progress, grrr!

Supposedly there are pressure points in your feet. But never known anyone that it worked for.

I haven't heard of pedicures inducing labor.
It's not like a real massage, really just rubbing. But I've heard of reflexology inducing labor.
