Anyone else experience this & went into labor soon after?

Question

This is my first pregnancy and I'm currently 38+6 today. However, for the past few days along with sharp pains and minor back pain it feels like I'm getting my period. 
What I mean by that is the dull feeling some girls might have when you're actually shedding blood and have a flow? 
It feels kind of hard to explain but im sure you get the picture lol

But has anyone else experienced this and went into labor pretty soon after?

I've had those off and on for about a week and a half, but no baby yet.  I'm 39w2.  So I guess, not necessarily. :(

I'm only 32 weeks and I get about 6 or more of those a day now for the last week. They're way worse than the BH have been so I would definitely say the more you have you're not far off from labor starting to progress! I'm not a doctor though. If they become frequent, time them :)

Those are contractions. They feel just like period cramps!!

Could be early stages of labor? I started with a aching back in the morning then by 12 that night was 6cm so could be the start maybe😊

I heard contractions sometimes in the early stages feel like period cramps I'd start timing them if they become more intense and more frequent
