my mother is against me having a pitbull as a family dog around my future kids

Sorry need to vent....My SO & I adopted the best little Pit I the world! He brings me so much happiness & helps me feel better right now since we are having troubling conceiving a baby.... Well my mom is really prejudiced 😕 He's teething and anytime he chews on her fingers she acts like he's purposes being aggressive.. She thinks that he's mean to the other dogs when my sister & I can clearly see that he's playing.. AND she doesn't want me to have him around my future babies! She thinks he's dangerous bc of his breed 😡😡 we have been socializing him non stop, he's around young children every weekend, and in reality he's really mellow for a puppy. She's just being so rude to him 😩😩
