The Depo shot?

I'm recently on the Depo shot, and I've been really depressed and moody. Is this a side effect? I'm usually happy-go-lucky, and down to have a good time. HELP.

Probably the depo really messes with you.

I was on depo for 5 yrs and i had a lot of mood swings after my first/after my last shot (not to mention acne and weight gain both at the beggining and end). In my experience the depo had a more server effect on my hormones vs. other birth control. I wouldnt recommend staying on more than a year, it can seriously mess up you estrogen levels and be very difficult to get back "to normal" afterwards.
