Depo and bc pills??

Question

Been off depo for 7 months and still haven't gotten pregnant (periods are normal). Can I take bc pills for a while to regulate everything?

It took me a good 8 months to start my period after being on the depo for 2 and a half years. I'm usually irregular anyways but once I got my period I went on pills and the pills regulated my period but I decided to go on the nexplanon and I wish I didn't. I still haven't had a period and I got it out last September.

Please be patient! It could be that your body isn't totaly rid of the depo shot hormones. And have in mind: even perfect healthy couples need 12-18 months to get pregnant. Some women need up to 1 year to come off of depo shot. Wait it out. Taking BCP now will probably bring your natural hormones more out of whack. Have in mind although: Nature gives you every month a chance of getting pregnant by max. 30%. Good luck.
