Sleep train 2 month old?

Is two months too early to do a modified cry it out or any other kind of sleep training? It takes me an hour of putting her down and picking her back up before she falls asleep and I'm so exhausted. I'm not waiting too long to put her to bed and I have a bedtime routine. She falls asleep while nursing. Please any help I would appreciate!

The baby whisperer book really helped me for when to let her cry and when to intervene, I couldn't handle the CIO after one failed attempt that left me crying too. My LO always goes down for naps and bed right away now, but we have been working on sleep training since day 1... She sleeps because of this book!!

We start bath time by 7pm and massage with lotion when bath is over, then bottle, then swaddle, pacifier and rock to sleep. Usually in bed asleep before 9. She's been sleeping 5-7 hours a night, and then another 3-5 after a quick feeding ( with lights off, no talking).

Try a routine. 4Bs. Bath. Bottle. Book. Bed. Since we started this he has been sleeping 5,6,7 hours at night. It took him awhile to get used to it but now that he knows the routine he knows it's time for bed after his bath and sleeps in his crib!

My baby falls asleep while nursing too and when she starts showing signs of sleepiness (besides falling asleep), I put her down. She will fuss and "complain cry" for about 15-25 mins before she really falls asleep. I never pick her up unless her cry changes or it goes past 25 mins - reason being, I want her to "learn" how to fall asleep by herself. I'm always close by as well so she knows I'm around. The key thing for me was knowing how to differentiate between a cry that is "I'm fussing because I'm trying to fall asleep" and a cry that is "I really need to be picked up now".
