How long did you take to heal?

Hey ladies, how long did you take to heal down below, i am 4 weeks pp and i am nowhere near healed yet, i had an episiotomy, anyone who's had an episiotomy can you comment how long it took for you😊!!

I had a 3rd degree cut, then a 2nd degree tear....I did the tucks pads in my pad too, with hemeroid cream squeezed on the top (didn't have hemeroids but it reduces swelling and itching). I would say about 4wks I felt more "normal".

I had a episiotomy and I tore. When I asked nurse how many stitches I got she said they don't count. So I'm assuming I got a lot lol anyways I have feeling better around 3-4 weeks. By then I had stopped bleeding as well. Just had to rest when I could and I used tucks pads and froze some panty liners. And of course Motrin!

I've never been pregnant but isn't 6 weeks the average recovery period? I'm sure it varies whether you had a c section or a vaginal delivery.

I didn't have an episiotomy, but I tore an inch. I was feeling better by three weeks pp and started having sex again. My gynecologist was not happy with me lol
