Let's talk car seats..

Hey girls! So I have a 4 month old baby and I got a really nice expensive car seat (Chicco keyfit zip) but this car seat is so padded and makes my baby extremely hot. Every time I put him in it he starts to sweat. I'm looking to change into a convertible car seat and wondering if any of you ladies had any suggestions
