HELP? Any business / marketing women around?

I want to start my catering business but I'm moving to a different state soon and I'm unsure of how to go about marketing and gaining new clientele. I will be new to the area. What are some good ways to get my name out there? I was thinking possibly pitch something to a company ? Maybe that's too big. How will I go about it individually. I don't know anyone there.
