Do you get working mother guilt?

I'm a teacher and have been home with my son since he was born (May). He'll be 4 months old when school starts again in September. My mom and I went to tour a daycare facility yesterday and I was so sad. I don't feel guilty taking him there, I know he will benefit from being around and interacting with other children his age. Rather I feel sadness for myself that I will miss that time with him. I'm afraid I'll miss his firsts, like his first steps and first word.

Yes and my daughter is 8. Some days you just wish you could be there for every exciting moment. I'm sure I'll cry in my car on my way to work the first day back to work after baby is born.

I don't think I consider it guilt. Definitely sadness, and I want to be able to do more and spend more time with my son. On the other hand, I really like eating, so I don't have other options...
