Stomach flu

My husband just came down with the stomach flu and was violently vomiting and pooping all night. I am so nervous for our 5 year old and 3 month old! Has anyone ever had a baby with the stomach flu and do you have any tips on how to help them through it? I am scared at how hard my husband was throwing up, I don't know what that will be like for the kids if they catch it too!
