When to tell people?

I'm 5 weeks as of tomorrow. My first appointment is at 7 weeks, and I've told all of my family. But we were thinking to announce to everyone else around 12 weeks or so, is that too early or would that be okay? I miscarried at 5 weeks last pregnancy so I'm trying to be careful this time.

12 weeks is perfect. The risk of miscarriage declines drastically at 12 weeks

I think its a personal preference hun. If youre nervous about sharing the news then I would wait a bit, if you do share then at least you will have more support. 
I miscarried my first pregnancy at 8 weeks and only my family knew so it was hard acting normal around everyone else who had no idea how hurt i was. But this pregnancy i am almost 16 weeks and only a few family member just found out last week. We are waiting until we are pretty far to share with everyone.
