Is it ok to take a bath?

23 weeks pregnant, and I've heard it's not ok to take a bath when you're pregnant... My doctor hasn't said anything about it, but I've never asked. I just want to soak in the bath tub.. My back and legs hurt lol.

I have been taking baths during allll my pregnancy! Make sure the water is not too hot! And try not to stay more than 20 min ! Nothing ever happened to me... It was soooo relaxing! Go for it, no worries!

You can continue to take baths until you lose your mucus plug. Just make sure it's not too hot.

it's absolutely fine just don't make it roasting just a nice warm bath that you can easily lower yourself into ... it's because the baby can't regulate their temp like we do so if it's too hot for you then you can imagine what it would be like for bubs :) enjoy

I only have a bath in my house, we dot own a shower so yeah I'm sure it's fine

A nice warm bath is fine. Just not a hot bath. I've taken a couple and threw in my favorite oil. I love baths!

You Arnt aloud to go in a hot tub or a sana. A bath at a reasonable temperature is more then okay! I'm 25 weeks and all I do is bathe

The only thing I've heard was a no no (as far as water) was the hot tubs so as long as it's not scorching hot water you should be fine

Baths are fine. Just make sure water temp is lower than body temp so you don't raise your body temp.  If you would put your child in the water chances are it is safe for you as well.  Test temp on the inside of your wrist (this is a sensitive area). If it feels too hot, it is too hot.

A warm bath is fine, just not hot. I took a bath every morning with my first :)
