I want a Halloween baby

My due date is Nov. 3, but at my ultrasound the baby measured a few days ahead. My sister actually had the same due date as me with her baby and she was born Oct 30th. Can you ask to be induced on a specific day if it is safe? My boyfriend claims they'll end up inducing me anyway (he doesn't seem to think I'll give birth naturally because every woman is induced these days.... his opinion) but I want a Halloween baby!
