I need some opinions

I had my period 6 days early and it only lasted 3 days and was semi light which is very unusual for me. They always last 7 days and are heavy for the first 3-4 days. I just moved in with my sister and she had her period a few days before me. Could mine just be acting up because mine and my sisters hormones or what?? Please answer if anyone can.
