How does she know???

Question

I had my 30 week ultrasound today, the doctor was in the room with the tech while she did it. When I was almost done she said to me your a little dehydrated, drink more water!!! How did she know that!!!! I am still puking and have awful diarreah!!! I am very curious to know how she can tell!!! 💖💖💖

If it was during an ultrasound it may be that your amniotic fluid level was slightly low..... Very common if you're dehydrated

Your lip color and how smooth they are is an indicator, too.

Either urine or when someone touches your skin and it stays white or something like that it means your dehydrated

If you are properly hydrated, you will usually have better quality pictures. If she's skilled at her job, she'd be able to  the difference between a hydrated and dehydrated person immediately.

There are tons of ways for her to know. She's a doctor.. It's her job.

Did you give urine in a cup ?

Yes there r tons of ways to know!!! She just sat there and read measurements on the ultrasound screen, I think it might have been the amniotic fluid level..... No urine, she didn't examine me, she didn't touch me!!!💖💖

How does she know???
