So over the past two weeks I've had 2 breast surgeries. I had a total of 5 pockets of infections in my breasts and now have 3 surgical openings. I used to produce enough on just one side to keep my son happy (he can drink 90ml out of a bottle) and I would pump the other side afterwards (120ml). But now after surgery and being in the hospital for a week I can't seem to keep him happy. I have to give him both sides and if I do pump one side I'm lucky to get 100ml. I've only been pumping the right side because one of my open incisions is inches from my left areola. How do I improve my supply? I don't want to have to stop breastfeeding.
