Stopping the bottle

Hey, here in the UK we're advised to stop bottle feeding at 1 year old and definitely no later than 18 months. My son now has two of his bottles in a cup but at bed time he still has a bottle. Has anyone else started doing this? Also, I'm confused about introducing cows milk. We're told they are to have two cups of cows milk a day from the age of one. Is this as soon as he's one? Should I be cutting down Archie's milk soon? He currently has 21 ounces. Sorry for all the questions I'm just a little lost as to what to do.
