TTC and been an emotional wreck lately

We have been ttc for almost 3 years. I'm not an emotional person . I don't cry at movies or anything. But over the last month I've been crying at the drop of a hat. I may be over thinking it but maybe it could be a sign of pregnancy? I don't want to take an early pregnancy test . I have a week before my missed period if I were. I'd rather wait and see. But I wanted to see your thoughts...
