We announced at 10 weeks publicly! But we announced at like 7 weeks to immediate family because it was Christmas and we didn't want to miss that opportunity! 😁

We announce to friends and family much earlier because we are pregnant from IVF and it would have been kind of obvious if we didn't say anything to those who knew, however we are waiting until the end of the first trimester before announcing to acquaintances and neighbors and professional colleagues etc . We also don't want to keep it a secret in case something happens and then no one could be there for us.

We told close family around 8 weeks. We had planned on keeping it a secret from everyone else but people at work found out quick due to me taking frequent bathroom breaks thanks to my morning sickness. We would've preferred to have waited until after the 1st trimester because anything can happen early on. However, you tell when you want to. Congratulations!

We've informed close family (grandparents) on both sides. Haven't announced anything on social media or public. I'm 19weeks, waiting on my gender scan and then I will post on fb most likely. I'm simply worried about the drama pregnancy brings and the unwanted advice. So, it's up to you, there isn't too late or too early in my opinion.
