So I'm not TTC or anything I'm just wondering how do you know that a line on a pregnancy test is an evap line and not a positive test?

Answer

Typically if the line shows up after (i believe) 10 min or the time they say on the test instructions then it's considered an evap. Like if a test says view the test before 3-5 min mark and there's no line but then if you view it after 30 min and there's a faint line that would be an evap.

It'll tell you on the box when to throw the test away and to not consider anything that shows up afterwards. X
