We unfortunately lost our twins in April, went in for our 12 week checkup and no heartbeats were heard (One baby measured at 7 weeks 4 days and the other 9 weeks 6 days). My doctor had me take Cytotec to induce the miscarriage once my body started misscarrying on its own (When any type of bleeding started). On April 14th the worst part of the miscarriage happened, I continued to bleed for 1 month, my doctor did an ultrasound and found that there was a tiny bit of retained tissue and she had me take Cytotec again. This second dose helped and TMI but I had bad cramps and a large gray peice of tissue was expelled. I've had 2 periods since then and just started my third period following miscarriage today. I've been experiencing spotting about 2 weeks before my period starts up until it actually does start, not sure what's going on but have any of you experienced this?? I'm currently between insurances right now and can't make a visit with my doctor :/ I'd love to hear about your cycles after miscarriage. We are hoping to try again soon but it's been nearly impossible to predict ovulation and fertility because of this spotting, I'm not even sure when I should say the first day of my period is, is it the spotting or when it's heavy flow??? I've also been reading online that sometimes you don't ovulate right away. I used cheap ovulation tests from the dollar store around the time my app said I should be ovulating and I'm pretty sure they were negative, except one of the days there was a faint line. Ugh I just want this to be over with so I can have closure and move on and start trying again 😣
