Here's my birth story! :)
I'm a FTM and on Tuesday, July 19 at 10:20pm I began habing contractions that were 9mins apart and stronger than the other contractions I've felt before (BH), since my Dr told me to go to the hospital IF contractions were 10-15 mins apart, me and my fiancé (still boyfriend that day) decided to head to the hospital with our bag JUST IN CASE... ![](https://asset-cf-cdn.glowing.com/forum/5e8e1605f968d258038a9f883737792e.jpg)
I honestly thought I would be home by 2am and be able to sleep in my comfy bed... But Baby Girl had other plans.
When I arrived at the hospital contractions were 4-6mins apart, so they decided to keep me in for observation, at 2am I was still in 1cm and not effaced. Contractions got worse through the night but I managed, at 7am I was still in 1cm but I had already effaced almost completely! Doctor arrived at 11am and I was in 4cm, he told me I was givingg birth that day, I thought "FUUUUCK! Another 24hours with this pain!!!!!"
He told me he could brake my water and give me some Demerol so "I could tolerate the pain a little" so I agreed... Pain just got worse!!! It was HORRIBLE! I felt the urge to push a couple of times but they told me I couldn't but then at 1:45 I HAD TO PUSH! I could no longer hold it and when the Dr came and checked I was in 10cm and ready to go!!!!!!! 7pushes later I had my baby girl in my arms!!! Everything was so fast and so easy I'm still in shock 11days later!!
I just wanted to share my experience with you guys and just tell you to stay positive and breathe, I know it's hard but you can do it! Just like one of the girls told me in my last post... "It's already in there, it has to get out" so stay positive mommas!!! Xoxo's ❤️
