Cat sense something?

Question

Recently my cat has been constantly following me around, sitting on my lap, and now has to be in the bathroom while I shower, which all of these she NEVER did a week ago, or with my first pregnancy. Is she sensing something is going to happen? I'm due 9/6.

With my first my cat would massage me all the time . He would come sleep with me instead of with anyone else and I was very alone during my pregnancy I just think animals know things.

One of my cats has been following me around all the time. He has to be in the same room as me. My other cat has chose to ignore me now! I think she senses something or is jealous.

My dog has been doing something similar. She naturally has been protective over me but she's been kind of "checking up" on me lately. I'll be laying on the couch and she'll come from my room to the living room to look at me then turn around and go back. I'm also due sept 6.

My dog started this. He has always been clinging but now he is by my side 100% of the time. I'm due 9/8 so maybe there is something to it.

My cats did the same thing when I was pregnant with my first son. They followed me everywhere and wouldn't leave my side. Then one day they started just walking around the house howling like dogs damn near and I started having contractions. Cats can since when things are changing are about to change.

Yep. Due 9/6 also. My cat always comes to bed and hops up on Hubbys chest at night..well last few nights she jumps on my hip rather than on him...she never used to pick me over him.

You're lucky it's just happening now! My cats have been my little shadows since before I even knew I was pregnant! I think they just know a big change is coming and want to make sure they're included. Mine have gotten worse as I've gotten bigger and as we've been getting the nursery ready. You've probably just been doing more things to get ready and they're reacting to that!

My cat can't get close enough as of like last week. He snuggles up to me and literally tried to lay on my face. He just keeps pushing himself closer and closer and closer. It's cute... And funny lol.
