Sharing room with big sister ?

Anyone having a baby girl & sharing their room wth big sister ? My daughter is 2 ,she'll almost be 3, so it's like a happy medium when it comes to decor for nursery/ toddler room. We made out extra room their toy room. I figured it'd be a better use of space

I had mine together. When baby is little and not sleeping through the night, would sleep in my room in bassinet. Once they sleep through the night, then they sleep in their crib in the shared room

I have a 3 yr old daughter and she will be sharing a room with her baby sister ☺️ she will be in the bassinet in our room first and transition into the other room.

I'm having a boy and we are putting him in my 5 year old daughters room. She is super excited about it but it's more or less just a place for his stuff to go until we move. I plan on him being with me in my room for a few months. We have a 3 bedroom house but there are two rooms up stairs and one down and I don't feel comfortable with the kids in different rooms being so young with out us being close by. Until then the 3rd room will be her toy room!

I'm pregnant with a boy who will be sharing a room with his big sister. Made the room as neutral as possible without making my daughter feel like she was loosing her girly room. I would have loved for him to have his own room I could could go super boyish with but that doesn't work in a 2 bedroom home. Very Thankful for all we have though :)

My daughters will probably not share a room, because of the age gap. My older daughter is going to be 9 in mid-October. She's very excited to be a big sister, but she doesn't want to have to share her space with a baby, and I can't say I blame her. When we move, we'll be looking for a 3-bedroom home for rent.

My son will be 3 in a couple weeks and I don't have an extra room for the baby so they will be sharing a room. The first few weeks I'll have the baby in my room in a pac n play but eventually transfer him to the crib. And eventually once his little brother outgrows the crib I'll be getting bunk beds for their room.

I wouldn't have a baby share a room with a child who is sleeping well thru the night. Unless the child sleeps and NOTHING will wake them up it's just not worth it to me. I'd rather keep baby near me so at least your other child isn't a grouch from lack of sleep. And besides two kids awake at the same time is no fun!

My little girl will share a room with her sister but they will be 8 years apart. This is my third and I'm not really concerned with decorating the room. Baby will sleep with me until she sleeps through the night. We talked about trying to move her into their room during winter break and see how she does. Worse case scenario my oldest will just sleep in the toy room on the futon until baby gets used to being in a crib.
