When to bring newborn out?

When are you guys bringing your newborn out? My baby is two weeks old and the only place we've been is his doctor appointment.

We go out all the time, and have since she was about 10 days old. As long as people aren't  touching them I think it's fine. Docs will say 6 weeks but most moms don't wait that long. Summer is better bc it's not flu season. Try not to keep them in heat for long, but we go to target, food store, etc.

I've taken baby to my parents and outside (either early or later when it's cool enough) starting at 2 weeks. Our doctor recommended against going to stores or anywhere with recycled air until they've had vaccinations at 2 months

I've gone to the mall to walk around with him. Do I like to go out and about in crowded places like that? Not at all but it's so hot to go walking outside right now!

Doctors appts & Walgreens that's it for us and she is 18days! She not a big fan in the car seat that's forsure lol

With our first I think we were more cautious because it was winter and flu/rsv season, but with this one we were out the second week to the grocery store, out to eat, and even took a walk on our local Boardwalk

At 1 week took baby to Walmart but I only go where and when it's necessary. .. He's 1m1w

My baby is four days old and she's been to my husbands work and out into the city to go to lunch.

I rememeber when my sister gave birth, they told her not to go out to crowded or noises places for 2 weeks.

We were out and shopping at 3 days!

Doctors appt at 4 days old. We will be going out again this weekend for a wedding (9 days old) and to church. I'm not planning to pass her around a bunch though, and the hubby knows I call the shots about when we go home.
